Once again, Lee Gray teams up with Terrell Metheny at WMCA in New York City. Terrell worked with Lee at WKLO and at WTRY before that, and decided to pull Lee away from Louisville, Kentucky to replace Gary Stevens.
WMCA was losing the ratings battle with WABC and the management was looking for change away from the "WMCA Good Guy" image. Lee Gray came in with a growl, and was definitly not a good guy as he began his shift with a drug reference in his first weather forecast.
