From the moment DLD Media launched The Broadcast Clock Creator project, it was our intent to provide as many options as possible for the user to create professional quality broadcast clocks - Quickly and easily!
The features that are included with The Broadcast Clock Creator can not be found anywhere else. It is designed specifically for broadcast and media professionals eliminating the need for expensive graphic software and third party graphic designer support. The Broadcast Clock Creator includes extensive help files and tutorials, and should you ever have any additional questions, DLD Media offers a dedicated support network and we will be more than happy to assist you.

The Control Panel allows you to easily Add, Remove, Insert and Delete Segments within your clock. You can adjust the times of the Segments that you have already added, replace or change Segments, modify Segments and more. You can do all of this while working on a new clock, or you can load a clock that you have previously created and modify that as well.
As you make changes to any clock, (Saved, New or In Progress), The Broadcast Clock Creator will display a real time, color coded graph of how your clock will look when completed.
The Control Panel will also allow you to see a Clock Preview complete with any Images and Text that you have entered, and you can also Print, Export to a PDF File or Export to an Image for distribution or for publication on websites.
In the Segments Tab, you can create new Segments and make modifications to any existing Segments. All entered Segments will be archived in The Broadcast Clock Creator database until you decide to delete it. Every time you add a Segment, the color is displayed around the name so you can keep your Segment colors organized.
When you modify an existing Segment, you can change the color, font, size of text, whether or not to have the name of the Segment inside of the clock, etc.
The Comments Tab is one of the most versatile features in The Broadcast Clock Creator. You can add a Comment that will be displayed at a designated time inside, or outside of the clock, down to the second.
Comments can also be displayed with, or without, the time. You can adjust how far inside, or outside, of the clock the Comment will be, in addition to adjusting the color, font and size - Which is great for adding notes at a specific time for station ID's, satellite tones and more.
With The Broadcast Clock Creator you can add Images and Text to any clock. Just click on the location where you would like to add the Image or Text, and you can customize that section to fit your needs. Images and Text can be set in more than a dozen customizable locations, including inside of the clock, which is a great place to put a company logo.
When entering Text, like with all text in The Broadcast Clock Creator, you can select the font, style, size and color. When finished, all of these Images and Text will be on your finished printed clock, or on a clock that has been Exported to a PDF or Image File.
The Broadcast Clock Creator gives you the freedom to customize the appearance of your clock in any way that you like - from plain and simple - to complex shading and segment highlights - which are great for sales presentations.
You can also adjust the complexity of the clock by adding minutes and seconds (in 10 second increments) to give your clocks more detail.
At any time when you are creating a clock using The Broadcast Clock Creator, you can preview your work. When you first open the The Broadcast Clock Creator, a window will open with a Clock Preview which allows you to see the progress of any clock that you are creating. Here you can also preview the layout of any images and text that you have.
From the Clock Preview you can directly print a clock for immediate use, and you can also Export a Clock to a PDF File, or Export to an Image File. An export will allow you to easily distribute your clock through E-Mail, and would be a great way to post to a website for display or download for distribution.
